An ammunition bunker was built to store the ammunition safely. The standard design for the military ammunition bunker consisted of a building constructed of reinforced concrete. During the war the ammunition bunker has two main functions; to protect the ammunition from outside attack, and it is also to protect the base from the forces of the potentially volatile weapons.
